Product Development Lead
Project Overview
Product development leadership for a two-sided marketplace connecting customers with private chefs. In an ongoing client engagement, I lead product delivery across the customer and provider sides of the platform. My work spans feature discovery, roadmap definition, user-journey and workflow design, requirements engineering, prioritization, implementation reviews and quality assurance. A central challenge is translating a complex service-booking process into clear digital journeys for both customers and chefs, including provider onboarding and multi-step booking workflows. I work closely with engineering on information architecture, data-model decisions and the implementation of product requirements in a platform environment using Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Supabase, Tailwind CSS and Vercel. The MVP is currently in active development.
Challenges
- •Designing coherent end-to-end journeys for both customers and private chefs in a two-sided marketplace
- •Translating a complex, partly offline service-booking process into a structured multi-step digital workflow
- •Balancing customer simplicity with the information and operational requirements of service providers
- •Defining requirements and acceptance criteria that remain clear as the product and underlying data model evolve
- •Maintaining product quality and consistency across an AI-assisted development workflow
- •Prioritizing MVP scope while coordinating stakeholder expectations and technical dependencies
